I hope the New Year is off to a fantastic start. Here are some great information and resources that I wanted to share with you.
The Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development has announced the application process for the Virginia Broadband Affordability and Adoption Planning Grant Program. Eligible applicants for this program include county, city, and tribal governments. More information including the registration link for the ‘How-To-Apply’ webinar on February 20th from 10am-noon can be found HERE. Please consider participating or sharing the information with your library partner so together you can support adults in your community.
The Fall 2023 COABE Journal (which most of you might have received a link with access to on or around October 25, 2023) has many great professional development articles! There is one, where educators learn about EdTech Maker Space and open educational resources while they curate, adapt, and create reusable digital activities that can be shared and adapted by others.
Also, the COABE 2024 Conference is next month in Nashville, TN. You can still receive a discount on your conference registration.
